No Germs on Me Campaign

The music clip was produced by Milikapiti Primary School on Melville Island in the NT. It  won first prize in the 'No Germs' music clip competition organised by the NT Department of Health and Families' Environmental Health Program. The competition called for students from around the Territory to pool their talents and learn new skills by creating a music clip to a specifically composed rock song, “No Germs”. The classes needed to plan, choreograph, write action scripts, lip synch, arrange costumes, source and prepare props as well as film and edit their clip in order to qualify.

The competition was organised as part of a broader social marketing campaign to promote the benefits of handwashing with soap across the NT.

Palm Island Aboriginal Shire Council wish to acknowledge the Northern Territory Government and the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing who provided funding for the project, as well as all the Students and their Families support in promoting Healthly lifestyle for Indigenous Australians.
